Have you claimed the Employee-Retention Tax Credit?
October 7, 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. / Hybrid meeting at the Larson Building and Teams
Justin Brown and Dan Van Beek, partner and senior manager at Larson Gross CPAs & Consultants, will join us to discuss the Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC), a substantial refundable tax credit designed to help businesses impacted by COVID-19.
This session will address general information about the ERTC, including which employers are eligible and how to claim the credit, how other funding programs interact with it and the latest legislation surrounding the credit.

Larson Gross has helped many general contractors and subcontractors apply and receive the ERTC. And while it is a high-profile funding program that has received a lot of attention, many businesses either haven’t explored if they are eligible or haven’t heard of it at all. Join us October 7 either virtually or in-person at the Larson Building in Yakima to learn more about how you can take advantage of this unique funding opportunity.

The latest on State's vaccine mandate
The Governor has amended the vaccine mandate and has also published a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document. The Vaccine Mandate Amendment is more in-depth than the original and the FAQs are more clarifying for the construction industry. The vaccine mandate applies to any person engaged to work as an on-site contractor for a state agency, an education facility or a healthcare facility. This includes both general contractors and specialty contractors.
At this time, the City of Seattle, King County, Port of Seattle and Sound Transit are not requiring the same level of vaccine mandate as state agencies. This remains a very fluid situation, and AGCW will continue passing-on information and representing our members' best interests. Get the latest on the vaccine mandate on our website's
News section.
