Labor-negotiation update
AGC of Washington is currently involved in negotiating new contracts with the labor unions below. This is the latest information as of 8:00 a.m. today.
Cement Masons: Tentative agreement for a three-year period; currently out for ratification.
Laborers: Tentative agreement for a three-year period: currently out for ratification.
Carpenters: Extension agreement until June 30, 2021.
Operating Engineers Locals 302 & 612: Extension agreement until June 15, 2021.
Teamsters: Still in negotiations with no extension date.

DES preview of state's record-breaking $6.3B capital budget
The State Legislature just passed a record-breaking $6.3 billion capital budget and the Department of Enterprise Services (DES) will provide AGC members with a project preview on June 25 at 10:00 am via Zoom. Janet Jansen from the DES will have a short presentation providing project lists and timelines, discuss delivery methods, and then open it up for Q&A.

Summer golf events get into full swing

Our 2021 golf events get underway this week, starting this Thursday with the Construction Leadership Council's driving-range social at Interbay Golf Center, just north of the UW in Seattle, starting at 4:00 p.m.
The AGC Safety Team golf tourney is next up -- but sold out, folks! -- on June 25 at High Cedars golf course in Orting.
The Central District golf tournament is next up on July 9, brought to you by Propel Insurance, at Apple Tree Resort in Yakima.
On July 30, it's the Ashbaugh Beal/AGC Southern District “Fast Eddie" Zawislak Memorial Golf & Field Day, coming once again to Gold Mountain golf course in Bremerton.
The Northern District's 2021 AGC/AIA Scholarship Golf Tournament will be held on Aug. 27 at Avalon Golf Links in Burlington.
Finally, our 2021 golf events culminate with the Oles Morrison/AGCW Seattle District Golf Tournament at Bear Creek Country Club in Woodinville on August 30.
