Hundreds of deserving families in the South Sound will have a better Thanksgiving because of you. Well-done! And, this charity has no overhead, as 100% of the work is done with volunteers.

Federal Way elections and
government-mandated PLAs
 AGC has been successfully fighting government-mandated project-labor agreements (PLAs) in Federal Way for several months now. In the most recent election in Federal Way, AGC-backed candidates who hold similar positions to AGC on the government-mandated PLA issue won their races. This is good news, and we hope a more business-friendly approach will be taken in Federal Way.   
Pierce County Construction Career Day
Because of state and county COVID mandates, the annual Pierce County Construction Career Day will not happen this year. For those who don’t know, this event exposes 2,500 high school students from over 40 different schools to our industry. AGC and our workforce-development partners are not standing on the sidelines -- they instead are producing a video that will talk about the great wages and benefits that our industry provides and will fully explain why kids should have a look at construction after they graduate.
Workforce development continues to be a top priority for AGC, and kids in Pierce County will continue to get quality career information from AGC and our partners.
