Take the AGCW member survey
WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!
AGC of Washington invites all members to participate in the 2021 Member Satisfaction & Strategic Positioning Survey, now open and running through May 19. All respondents will be entered into a drawing for one of four $250 VISA gift cards. Click here to take the survey today!
This anonymous survey will help AGCW staff and leadership better understand members’ evolving needs and how you use current AGCW services. The results will help inform the Board of Trustees’ upcoming strategic planning discussions this summer.
Employees of each member firm (with a valid email on file) should expect to receive a survey invitation via email on the 12th and will have until Wednesday, May 19th to submit responses. The survey includes only 17 questions and should take just ten minutes or so to complete. We encourage your participation, and individuals completing the survey will be entered into a drawing for one of four $250 VISA gift cards.
AGCW thanks you in advance for your input and support of this process. If you have questions regarding the survey, please contact AGCW’s strategic-planning consultant Elisa Pratt.

IRS releases guidance on tax credits
for vaccine-related paid leave

(From AGC of America) The Internal Revenue Service and the Treasury Department announced on April 21 further details of tax credits available under the American Rescue Plan to help small businesses, including providing paid leave for employees receiving COVID-19 vaccinations.
Eligible employers, such as businesses and tax-exempt organizations with fewer than 500 employees and certain governmental employers, can receive a tax credit for providing paid time off for each employee receiving the vaccine and for any time needed to recover from the vaccine. For example, if an eligible employer offers employees a paid day off in order to get vaccinated, the employer can receive a tax credit equal to the wages paid to employees for that day (up to certain limits).
