MARCH 24, 2020

COVID-19 and Construction
Town Hall Conference Call (Session II)
Wednesday, March 25, 2020  -  8:30 AM PDT

While AGC continues to seek clarity regarding the Stay-at-Home order issued yesterday by the State of Washington, we invite you to discuss contingency planning, which includes responses to reductions in labor force should they be needed. We will also provide a recap on Emergency FMLA and Emergency Sick-Leave benefits, shown here.
This will be a Town Hall-style conference call to answer any questions and address any concerns you may have. Due to the timeline, this session will not have PowerPoint slides during the session, but we will issue a recording of it.
Amy Robinson from Miller Nash Graham & Dunn LLP will be returning for this second session to expand on the legal landscape, including important considerations for managing reductions in labor force surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, an overview of how unemployment-insurance benefits and other state and federal leave benefits do and don’t apply, and options including standbys and layoffs. We don’t have all the answers, but we want to make an appropriate space for our members to hear a legal perspective as we deal with the challenges of this rapidly changing scenario.
Because this situation is evolving daily, we want to continue to keep our lines of communication open, despite the rules on social distancing and limitation of gatherings, so this remote meeting is being offered for your protection and ours.
Please join us REMOTELY for this COVID-19 Town Hall (Session 2) at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2020. Click here to register.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.

Best regards,
AGC of Washington
